Cat Monkey?


We saw these animals on top of Sugar Loaf Mountain in Rio. They appear to be a cross between a cat and a monkey. Weird. I challenge anyone to post the real name of these creatures as a comment on this blog, otherwise they will be forever known as Cat Monkeys...

It looks a bit like a lemur monkey to me. But I think we should call them Cat Monkeys from now on.

Glad to hear you are well, I'm enjoying your blog very much but it does make Monday mornings at work that little more painful!

With regards to the monkey I think it's a Tamarin (not lion head) take a look at this link:
